Careful, Aaron. My statement was that I like the flexibility of /free,
and that I have learned to code around the lack of a MOVE opcode. I
still think the lack of a MOVE opcode or BIF is still an unjustifiable
wart on what could be an otherwise useful syntax.

I use /free for new development. It's great in WDSC, where you can see
a nice 60x80 rectangle, which is plenty of room for all but the most
complex procedures. And even so, I still run into places where I wish I
had the MOVE opcode, and like Colin, I find it a pain to have to
workaround this artificial limitation - a limitation imposed by fiat by
the compiler team.

So, my position hasn't really changed. /free is good for new
development, but it sucks for legacy systems solely because of the lack
of a MOVE. Oh, and I hate the semi-colons <grin>.

Joe
