RE: Service program procedure passing parameters to an external p rogr am

Speaking of which, I did place the service program into debug and confirmed
the two parameters that are showing as blank in the external CLLE program do
have values at the time the program is executed from the service program.  

Since the CLLE program is compiled ACTGRP(*CALLER), activation groups should
not be an issue.  I'm beginning to wonder about whether there's a problem
executing an external program from a service program, though.  Our release
is old enough (V4R1) that this is a problem that might have been fixed
later. 

And yes, I know we need to get to a more recent release, particularly if
we're going to be messing around with this stuff.  As it happens, it looks
like we'll be getting a brand new V5R2 box early next year.  I am just
tingling with excitement! :)
