RE: RPGsp -- RPG400-L

Just starting with this evaluation and Profound Logic's product is the 
first one I've down loaded(had used RPG Alive before) .  As for everything 
I've seen so far it would be tuff to beat, very easy to use. I have 
another 2 year RPG person (avg coder) to my 15 years that is going to do 
everything from scratch to see about learning curve on set up and app 
building because it might have been just me. They also claim to meet or 
beat competitors prices.  The file maintenance I created, in about 10 
minutes, was full blown app.  on Item Master. I'm going to take it from 
just a web subfile with add/chg/dlt/dsp and see about actually showing 
pictures of items and see how well that goes. I'll post any problems I may 
or may not have. Will you do the same? I'll also check out the other one 
you mentioned.

Hi Bill!

I am evaluating different options too:

1) RPGsp (http://www.profoundlogic.com/products_rpgsmartpages.html)
2) Websmart (http://www.bcdsoftware.com/progenwebsmart.htm)

Do you had more options under your consideration before choosing this one? 
 If
yes, can you mention them?

Has anyone out there use this product by Profound Logic. I was able to
create full blown file maintenance program in about 10 minutes of set up

time for server and about 10 minutes for subfile with add, change,
delete,
and view ended up with web enabled app with all the bells and whistles.
Even with shell programs and typing 80 words/acronyms a minute I could
not
have done the same thing this fast. Support group was very helpful with
set up; almost immediate responses by email etc.

But not wanting to believe something to good be true was wanting to now
if
anyone has had any good or bad experiences with this product.
