Hi Barbara, we are at V5R2. If I terminate the JVM (using DestroyJavaVM as shown in the manual), the JVM (with all the sub-processes) ends. If I call again an rpg program that uses java classes, or if I restart the JVM manually (using the code suggested by David Morris), everything seems to work fine. Do you mean that we must not use this. The problem, as I said, is that we use CHDACGCDE for job accounting, and this command does not work if the JVM is still running.
