Rick, It is pure ASCII data in a single stream. There are no end-of-record indicators, nor end of file. When the data ends, it ends. I have to read/parse and convert it on the fly, thus the original method of using User Space. I'm a little confused about why the record calculation if using a data queue wouldn't work for other methods also.
