If you install option 13 (System Openness Includes) of OS/400 you will get the QSYSINC library and QRPGLESRC/QUSEC include. This however is NOT going to fix all of your problems... The example is making a (bad) assumption -- namely that the last data structure in QUSEC is QUSEC, that it ends at byte 16, and that they can then append Qdata to it starting at byte 17. Several releases back a new data structure was added (QUSC0200) to the QUSEC include and Qdata is now going to be appended to this structure and not the intended one (if you use this approach).
