The thing with VI is it seems there is a ton of functionality, but it takes so long to get to the point of becoming a proficient user. I have been around some Linux guys lately and they just scream through that thing to the point where I can't even see what they are typing as they navigate around. For the most part I thing it is just different, not necessarily dreadful. For me, I will use it to do minimal editing, but for writing code I am a GUI guy:-) Aaron Bartell -----Original Message----- From: Scott Klement [mailto:klemscot@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, October 15, 2003 3:28 AM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: RE: Please vote for Syntax check in /FREE!
