What's the length of the numeric field? It uses that to base what information is returned to the Result field. If you really want the current time, use a T (time) variable data type in the Result field and output it instead. If you're beyond V4R1 that's no problem on Print or Display files. I'm using the TIME opcode and moving it to a numeric field (per Cozzi's book), then using the numeric field in the report header. Simple, right? Somehow I keep getting spaces in it and the report blows up. So could someone please help me cure this brain fart of mine? TIA. _______________________________________________ This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
