I found the famous Redbook _Who Knew You Could Do That with RPGIV_ (aka _A
"Sorcerer's Guide_... SG-5402-00) filled with plenty of source code examples
and the code was downloadable from Redbook site.  It's dated but is probably
still very useful.  Both Sockets and IFS were covered in Chapter 5 (although
I didn't try the IFS stuff don't recall now if it was as good as the Sockets
stuff).
