At the moment it creates the csv data in a regular DB2/400 flat file, then does a CPYTOSTMF to get it onto the IFS. On large files this adds quite a bit of time lag :( On the plus side it does strip trailing blanks, and the code can be tweaked to do whatever you like with the data before writing it out formatted.
