If you didn't use binder source to begin with, you will need to recompile all the other service programs that refer to the changing service program. But, before you do, you can use the RTVBNDSRC to create Binder source for this service program and then in the future, you can just update the binder source and this won't happen next time. >>> james@xxxxxxxxxxx 09/12/03 11:36 AM >>> Ok, I need to figure this stuff out. I have a binding directory that contains several service programs. Several programs are linked against the service programs in this binding directory. I need to update some of the service programs in the binding directory. When I do, the linked programs error with a message that says something like "signature violation". I've read the IBM docs on binder source (which is what I think I need) but so far it isn't sinking in. Will someone tell me what to do so that I can update the service programs in the binding directory without having to recompile every program that uses them?
