Are the fields all output? If so an option would be to place a single 130-byte field on the screen and populate it in code with the correct values. You would know that the user was looking at one field that contained: "123 $4.56 Red XL 3,002 5/6/03" But to the user it would look like 6 fields. I've used this technique before to display over 100 fields on a subfile line and it's quite powerful. The real nice advantage to this is that you can allow the user to decide which fields to show and in what order to display them. -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 (208) 692-3308 eFax WaldenL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur. Hi There is a requirement where I need to display fields which occupy about 170 columns in all. I have changed the default number of columns to 132 from the default value of 80 but I havent got the desired output. What I'm looking at is having the default value to be 80 columns I should be able to scan through all the fields. How can I do that? Incase you haven't understood my query to make things clear, when we use a runqry option by pressing F19 and F20 we can move the screen to the left and right respectively.I would be happy with some thing like that. How is that done? Thanks Pratheb Nadarajah _________________________________________________________________ Need a naukri?
