The easier way to map is to use iSeries Navigator to setup the QDLS has shared. Now that I think about you may not have to setup the QDLS has a share. You will just have to test that part and see. Then you will need to start the *NETSVR using the STRTCPSVR command. Once you have done that, in Windows click Start, Run then type \\AS400NameorIpaddressHere then click Okay. Windows will prompt you for you for you user id and password. Enter your AS/400 user id and password. A Windows Explore window should appear showing the root of the AS/400 file system and any shares. Then just map to the QDLS like you would any other map. You will be prompted for you AS/400 user id and password each time you login if you select the reconnect option. Hope that helps. -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mahesh Pawar Sent: Friday, August 22, 2003 6:37 AM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Mapping IFS folder Hello, We are using 'Client access express.Ver.4 Release4' Does any one know how to map AS/400 IFS folder \QDLS in windows in client access express.we used to map the IFS folder in earlier version(Client accessVer3) Thanks in advance.
