I understand what you are saying. However, instead of putting the DEFINE in the CRTBNDRPG, can you imbed it in your source and still make sense for your application? Everytime that I've used /if defined, I've always had some other spot in the source that the /define. But I can understand how some application designs would be different. Im used to specify the DEFINE keyword on command CRTRPGMOD to define my condition names, well, now i've changed the member type to sqlrpgle and i bump into "keyword not allowed for this command". Is there any way around this ? Or will i have to get used to precompile all my sql program with the *NOGEN option and then compile allways using CRTRPGMOD ? Any thougths or alternatives are greatly appreciated, Carlos Kozuszko. ------------ Internet GRATIS es Yahoo! Conexión 4004-1010 desde Buenos Aires.
