Not being familiar with "Client Access Express" (or even knowing if it
is any different than "Client Access") I can't tell you if this will
work, but in "Client Access",
UNchecking "Status Bar" in the "View" menu will cause messages to
display on line 24.

Subject: ERRMSGID

I am trying to use a msgf to take advantage of extended help messages. I
add to my DSPF:

      0010.00????? A???????????????????????????????????????MSGLOC(24)
      .
      .
      0058.00????? A??????????? EXPART??????? 15A? B? 4
      10
      0059.00????? A N91
      DSPATR(HI)
      0060.00????? A? 91
      DSPATR(RI)
      0061.00????? A? 90
      ERRMSGID(MSG0090 QCIMSGF )
      0062.00????? A? 92
      ERRMSGID(MSG0092 QCIMSGF
      )
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
??????

The problem I have is that Client/Access Express hi-jacks the message,
and puts it in the WINDOWS structure at about 4 point font. This totally
eliminates the ability to put your curser on line 24?over the
basic?message and press <F1> for extended message.??Does anybody know
how ?SEU and PDM get?around this? Their messages behave the way an error
message should.
