Or, perhaps he is saying that instead of just those that (your explanation here) you should randomize your sampling more by contacting iSeries developers at random by phone and getting their responses. Polling data, in general, may, or may not, be worthless. If you are asking a poll you may tailor it to get the desired result. Ask it in a media slanted to your view. Or any other number of things. Let's face it, would a poll sponsored by Rush Limbaugh on his radio show garner a valid representation of the liberal population? People may believe that responding to a poll may make no difference. If everyone responded to a poll saying that /free is a revolutionary enhancement and the greatest thing since external files would that change your opinion? Should it?
