The "request" was a backhanded slam and the premise was incorrect.  The
post was in response to a comment made last night, and it incorrectly
stated my position.  If a post misrepresents me, I will correct it.

And if Doc didn't go out of his way today to drop a sarcastic note about
something I wrote last night, we wouldn't be having this little
conversation, would we?  But hey, blame me for it, I'm a good target.

Go back and reread the posts, Scott.  I dropped the issue last night.
Today's threads are centering on maintainability and programming style,
not /free.  My only /free related comments are in response to Doc and
Eric.

Sorry you don't like what I have to say, but whacking me for a subject I
dropped is a bit inappropriate.
