If you want you can create a logical file that will do this for you. Then your PC application could download that. First create a simple RPG service program to convert the character field into milliseconds. Must be a subprocedure in a service program. Then create a User Defined Function, or UDF, based on this. Then use SQL to create a view based on this UDF.
