I certainly understand why the INVITE keyword does not apply or is not available for web facing. I can say that the support would have to involve some type of redirect or refresh of the web page. WebFacing does not support all DDS keywords. Some it just ignores, but some keywords cause it to reject the display file as non-compilable. One of the keywords in the latter category is INVITE. INVITE is used to return control to the RPG after a period of time (normally specified on the CRTDSPF or OVRDSPF command) even if the user has not done anything. This enables the display to be refreshed with new data, refreshed with a modified set of options (for a menu type display) or even to exit as a security measure. We have displays in all three categories and need to change them to maintain the same function but without using the INVITE keyword. Any ideas as to what approach we should use? regards Stephen Osborn Acceptance & Integration Group Misys Wholesale Banking Systems 1 St George's Road London, SW19 4DR Tel: +44 (0) 20 8486 1790 (Direct) Tel: +44 (0) 20 8879 1188 (Switchboard) stephen.osborn@xxxxxxxxx www.misys.com This email message is intended for the named recipient only.
