After all your indignant assurance that we as programmers could use MOVE instructions if we just used mixed-format coding, it turns out that you made a conscious effort to make it MORE DIFFICULT to do mixed-format coding? Exactly what "benefit" does this wipe out? And since when is it your position to "discourage" us from doing something? This is exactly the sort of thing I think you need to stop doing.
