I am curious as to how IBM is organized.  Hans, you are in Toronto and are
in the RPG dept?  The person in Rochester, what dept would they be in?

also, this issue of ILE not know a varying string from a bitmap, what dept
of IBM is in charge of ILE?  Is that group not in Toronto or Rochester, but
some mainframe stronghold in NY somewhere?

Does IBM consider ILE a current technology?  Is anyone working on
enhancements to ILE like namespace support and an integrated exception
handling model?
