Bingo. This is the best answer. This would in fact be a really nice program for a "skeleton". Hey, did anybody ever create a repository of skeleton programs? You know, a standard "work with" display, a standard file maintenance program, a standard master file list, a standard batch prompt, a standard self-submitting program? Maybe it's time to revisit the idea of standard programs? Because now we have standard CGI programs and standard trigger programs and standard exit programs. It seems like there's quite a few new things that could be collected. Just thinking out loud. Joe
