You need to switch user profiles before the program is called for this to happen. There are easy to use API's to do this (look at the API programming guide in the info center) but make sure that the program that is switching the profile is crash proof since if you run out of profile handles, you will crash OS/400. If you just want a different profile for reporting or auditing purposes, you could always pass the one you want in as a parameter.
