Ken, Interesting, I posed a similiar inquiry the other day under a posting "data area question - performance". I was interested to know why we are now getting data area locks in other jobs where previously we did not. I have been able to rely on the *LOCK IN and OUT in the past but wonder if V5R2 is possibly allowing too jobs to obtain the data area value concurrently. Help if you can, TIA, if you do, Ken Slaugh (707) 795-1512 x118 Chouinard & Myhre, Inc.
