Some of the features that improve my productivity are: (these relate to Code as I haven't moved to WDSC 5.0 yet, although soon). - Having many members open for editing at once, and being able to minimize them all at once. Once I open a source member I tend to leave them open until the end of the day in case I need to go back to it. Easy to close them all at the end of the day. - Having a single source member open in multiple windows at the same time. All windows are editable and changes in one are instantly available in all windows. This allows you to see different related parts of the same source member at the same time and make changes either place. Such as modifying a procedure prototype and the callp statement using it at the same time. - Being able to double-click an error message and positioning me to the error in question in the source. - Being able to compile without exiting the editor and keeping the source open. This makes the compile/test/debug cycle a much quicker turnaround for me. - F1 context sensitive help takes me to the Reference Manual. - Code Designer - ah, this is a tremendous improvement in creating/modifying printer and display files. Being able to drag/drop fields around the display. Easy access to field attributes. This part of Code may be around for awhile so may still be worth learning for those that are new to the tools and are starting with WDSC 5.0. That's just what pops into my head at the moment. There are other things that others have mentioned that add up after awhile. For me, the added productivity is definitely there. I work some other places on the side where I don't have access to the client tools and I can just tell I'm not getting as much done even though I do use several Client Access sessions to try and do things in parallel.
