I can't recall the name but I briefly worked with a similar language on NCR systems. I also remember something similar on Burroughs. In the world of ICL (who at the time were bigger in Europe than IBM) there was a language called NICOL** which was almost identical to RPG. Later on ICL replaced it by implementing an RPG II dialect as did Wang, DG, DEC, Honeywell, HP and ????? ** Without thinking about the implications, I named my fist daughter NICOLA which prompted one of my friends to ask if my second child would be called NICOLB!!
