MAPI concerns about Client-Access-Express / iSeries Access for V5R2

In the V5R2 Memo to Users, Page 48 on Client Access Express (now renamed 
iSeries Access for Windows) mentions that MAPI support is removed in V5R2.  
"If you are upgrading from an earlier version of Client Access, the MAPI 
component will be uninstalled from your PC.

        Has anyone on this list ever of screwing up someone's email by 
upgrading 
Client Access or Ops Navigator to V5R2 ?
