For the benefit of the person asking the SQL question they still may wish 
to consider the midrange-l list.  There are some pretty sharp people with 
SQL on that list that don't frequent this list.

I disagree with the objection on SQL syntax.

Embedded SQL in RPG is quite common now.  Additionally there isn't a SQL
mailing list present on midrange.


The rest you have my support on.
