Kim, The second EXFMT is probably writing over the message. Try putting a timer into the program instead of another EXFMT and see if the message stays longer. It serves to test changes, without any excess baggage. I might be wrong, but I believe the program does not end until control returns from the second EXFMT toward the end of the program. What I would like is to see my message until the user presses enter from the screen displayed by that second EXFMT. Any help is appreciated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kim Spears * Programmer Oasis Group Phone: 1-507-386-3266 kwspears@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ _______________________________________________ This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
