AFAIK, everything works on DSPATR except the PC attribute. For that, you need to work with CSRLOC & RTNCSRLOC keywords, which work with hidden fields. EDTWRD & EDTCDE don't accept fields, but they do still work in conjunction with DSPATR using a P field. i.e. the P-field can set a display field to Red at the same time an EDTWRD is formatting it. With these tools you are able to eliminate all indicators except for the subfile controls. For those, as others have pointed out, use the INDARA keyword at the display file level, which allows you to name those few remaining indicators to something meaningful in your program, such as Subfile_Clear, Subfile_Display, etc. Too bad there doesn't seem to be any further enhancements being made to DDS. > -----Original Message----- > From: Mary and Jim [SMTP:mmjlow@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2003 8:18 PM > To: 'RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries' > Subject: RE: Indicator Arrays in /FREE > > Thank you.
