Depends.

Which are you accessing in the RPG program?  If you are not accessing the 
changed LF then no big flipping deal.  If you are accessing the changed LF 
then whether or not it works depends on what you changed in the LF.  For 
example, added a field, or modified a field size versus changing column 
headings.

Is it true that I can recompile a Logical file and not have to recompile
the RPG program if the Physical File for the Logical doesn't change? I
just did it and the program still works, but I just want to make sure. I
always recompile RPG programs whenever I change any file object Logical
or Physical. It's just a habit I got into ever since I started
programming.
