In IBM's SQL manuals, IBM references a dummy file in examples that use
functions like curdate():

C/EXEC SQL
C+ SELECT CURDATE() INTO :CURDATE
C+     FROM SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1
C/END-EXEC

Is there a system file with only 1 record for this purpose or must I create
my own?
