I might try something like:

   C    Eval  sPhone = %Trim(sPhone) + PHNAR(X)

I might also change the If loop:
   C    If PhnAr(X) >= '0'  And PhnAr(X) <= '9'
   C    Eval  sPhone = %Trim(sPhone) + PhnAr(X)
   C    EndIf

As to the question of you being a dummy?  Brainflat <> dummy

I've also tried Eval sPhone = sPhone + PHNAR(X)

But, to no avail. I are unable to build my phone number.

I watch in debug, and I see the cat/eval instruction execute, but no data
goes into the
result.

Anybody know why? Am I a dummy?
