*ALL: Our shop has all our code in OPM (mostly RPGIII, some RPGIV), but I'm wanting to move us forward, and have a program that I'd like use as a "subroutine". This program uses 5 separate files, and does not pass any parms - it is totally stand-alone. I've got a pretty firm grasp on RPGIV code, but am struggling with ILE concepts such as service programs, pointers, binding directories, etc. Can I somehow turn this program into a procedure or service program? While I have your attention, what is the best way to learn about ILE? I'd like to build a small app that uses these concepts, but don't know where to start.
