Isn't a NJLF or Non Join Logical File otherwise known as a Multiformat
logical file?

Thus if you don't read by record format, but instead read by file, then
you can analyze the INFDS for which record format was just read.

Hi Murali!

>I have Nonjoin Logical file...
-snip-
>how can I read this NJLF thorugh RPG

There is a good example of how this works in the RPG Reference. The V5R1
manual example starts on page 312 (Chapter 17, Accessing Database files.)
Basically, if you want to read a specific format, READ format_name. If
you
just want the next record regardless of what format it is, READ file_name.
