RRN set in other places will have to explore code awhile to find out where
it's off.
Alot of validation is in readc loop and it's call from mult places in code.
I agree with
what you are saying about readc in DO loop. But 3000 thousand plus is enough

I mean code all ready.

Think I'll write control for temp fix then plan on re-writting pgm in about
1000 lines.

Then again, you could just move all the READC processing into the DO 999
loop.  That's what will happen if you get the READC to work anyway.
