What about including both printer files in the program with USROPN. Open
the file(s) they want to print be in a PARM in the *INZSR. Have the default
for %PARM = 0 be the most popular choice?

Subject: RE: Renaming records

I have to have two separate printer definitions for overlays. They want the
option to print, fax, or both. They are exactly the same except for the
record name, so the program knows which it is supposed to write. I have this
working. But they still want the occasional change :-(. I don't mind
renaming the record formats, but if there was a shortcut. I would like to do
it.

The question isn't clear to me. Which records are you renaming, and when,
and why?
