On my system, the CRTPGM command doesn't even have an option for the
default activation group.

So, how are you compiling multiple modules into the default activation
group?!   Is it possible that it's not running in default, and you don't
realize it?  If so, your override might not be working, and maybe that
explains the problem?

These are just guesses, but without seeing hte code, there's only so much
I can do...
