Buck, your comments are highly interesting and thought-provoking (as usual).
Assuming all servers are equal (kinda) is a very bad assumption, and a basic
understanding of OS architecture is crucial for any programmer (knowing a
programming language doesn't make you a programmer, it just gets you a job
as a programmer).

BTW: don't blame us for being on topic!
