However the big push from IBM is to abandon looking at SQLCOD and start using SQLSTT. The reason being that SQLSTT is actually a standard for other databases. Thus you'll retain that knowledge when/if you start using SQL on other platforms. Also, the java kiddie might grasp your code a hair quicker. Use whatever you wish. Peace.
