Well, I wound up taking the easy way out and copying the formats into one display file that works perfectly fine. A little testing showed me that the screen that was showing up was whatever screen happened to be there when the first display format from the second file was displayed. I'll take a look at RSTDSP for next time, but this time I just got it to work. Thanks. Jim, i can only suggest the obvious two things that all window programs must have... (I'm sure it's in the FAQ somewhere) 1. try a putting a dummy record in both display files (call them dummy1 and dummy2) with a single ' ' space defined and the ASSUME keyword. you don't have to reference these formats. 2. compile both dspfiles with RSTDSP(*YES) _______________________________________________ This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
