Joel, the format for date literals in RPG programs is entirely
determined by the source itself (H spec DATFMT keyword).  The system
values for the date format have nothing to do with the format for any
dates in RPG (except as they may affect the job values); the job values
for the date format only affect the TIME opcode with a numeric result
field and *JOBRUN conversions.
