RE: Displaying error message within the window

It depends on what you mean by the Window.

The green screen window itself line 27?  Yes, you can display errors there with 
DDS.
A  70                                  ERRMSG('Invalid period' 70)
The 1st 70 indicator states when this error message will be displayed.
the 2nd 70 indicator (after the text) states what indicator will get reset when 
the user presses the reset key.

Do you mean a user created window?  You would have to create your own field.
