If the data is in one field, then you'll have to do something a little
differently, but if it is in two fields you could do this:

C         FIRSTNAME        CAT     LASTNAME:1        NAME

The value ':1" after last name indicates that one blank should remain
after the concatenation is performed. You can set that value to any
number and, in fact, to a variable.
