and have the compiler write an .CSV record for me and put comma's in
between each field(accounting for embedded commas) and put an end of record
marker in at the end.

I have written many RPG - > IFS   and  many   IFS  - >  RPG   programs
using the unix api's but the above two lines would make the  "Integrated
File System"   almost seem "Integrated"  with our business.

We could have an F-Spec keyword to say what the delimiter was and what the
EOL delimiter was.
