If your only reason for using the dynamic screen manager APIs is to save
and restore the screen you might want to look at the Suspend or Restore
Display File (QWSSPRST) API. This API can be found in the system API
category Work Station Support and does not require the use of DSM.

I am trying to use this API to save a screen prior to executing a 5250
program/display file.... and then restoring the screen with a QsnPutBuf.

Does anyone have a working example of using this API?

TIA

Michael Smith
