Hi Frank,

did you Try with ADDDUR opcode in ILE RPG ??
Its used to add duration to a given date, can be duration in terms of days,
months, years.
not sure, but the syntax goes something like this..

C         ADDDUR:DAYS             NoOfDays      InputDate
