Check out the ADDDUR and SUBDUR operation codes in the RPG reference.  Using
these with date fields will accomplish your objective.

Is there a BIF or Opcode that will take care of adding days to the system
date?  I'd like to add days to the system date using a BIF or Opcode to take
care of leap year calculations and last day of the month calculations.
