Actually the error message is generated in the calling program, not the called program, so the CLP being called never has a chance to check for the error. I believe if you attempt to execute the RTV programs directly instead of through a command an error would be generated indicating insufficient numbers of parameters were passed without ever executing a statement in the RTV program. In fact, I get message CPD0172 when I attempt to execute TAADATDC with only the first parameter. Of course, we are on V4R1 here and the rules may have changed in later releases. Donald R.
