RE: I am a beginner.

Captain Kangaroo was the main character and name of a daily network
children's show.  Captain Kangaroo interacted with humans--including farmer
Mr. Greenjeans--and puppets.  It was a little edgier than Fred Rodgers, but
not exactly postmodern. <g>  OTOH, the main purpose of the show was not
showcasing products, so it wasn't all bad.

I'm glad to know there are some RPG programmers too young to remember
Captain Kangaroo.
